About RNDC
Beverage Alcohol Industry
Republic National Distribution Company (RNDC), based in Grand Prairie, Texas, stands as one of the leading national beverage distributors in the wine and spirits industry. The company has built its reputation by bringing together talented people, trusted supplier relationships, and a steady commitment to service. Through its national reach, RNDC supports suppliers by helping them build strategic connections with on- and off-premise customers, strengthen brand visibility, and reach the right consumers. Operating in the District of Columbia and 38 states, the company serves suppliers, customers, associates, and communities, aiming to be a valuable and dependable partner.
History and Growth
The story of RNDC is rooted in the legacy of three long-standing, family-owned distributors. Each began as a smaller, relationship-focused business and grew over time through strong partnerships, consistent service, and leadership shaped by family values. As these companies developed, their similar cultures and shared business principles made a natural step. Their combined experience created a foundation that helped shape a stronger national organization while preserving the service-minded approach that supported their early success.
In 2007, Republic Beverage Company and National Distributing Company officially joined to form RNDC. This merger brought together decades of experience, well-established supplier networks, and leadership built on long-term industry relationships. With roots reaching back before Prohibition, the company has continued to evolve within the three-tier system. Today, it operates across local, national, digital, and direct-to-consumer channels while maintaining a focus on quality, craft, and practical support for the wine and spirits marketplace.
Industry Recognition
Over the years, RNDC has earned recognition for leadership, innovation, wellness, sustainability, and service. Recent awards include the 2025 Beverage Wholesaler Best Practices Award for Best Technology Innovation, the 2025 Globee Award for Best AI-Driven eCommerce Solution, and several 2025 Rémy Cointreau Distributor Awards. The company was also USDA Organic Certified through Natural Food Certifiers in 2025 and recognized for a sustainability initiative in 2024.
RNDC has also received broader recognition outside its supplier and distributor partnerships. In 2023, it was named to Forbes’ America’s Best Large Employers list, showing the importance of its workforce and workplace culture. Earlier honors include a nomination for The Wine & Spirit Trust’s Educator of the Year Award in 2018, Bronze Level recognition from the American Heart Association’s Workplace Health Achievement Index in 2017, an IABC Gold Quill Award for its redesigned website in 2016, and additional awards connected to wellness, suppliers, and industry leadership.

Republic National Distribution Company (RNDC) also supports professional growth through a range of career paths. Its College Recruitment Program includes a Sales Trainee role designed to help emerging professionals gain knowledge of the beverage alcohol business and develop practical skills. The company also offers internship opportunities that give students real-world experience through projects connected to its goals. These programs reflect RNDC’s efforts to build future talent while providing participants with meaningful exposure to sales, operations, supplier relationships, and business development.
Recent Milestones
In 2024, RNDC secured more than $100 million in new supplier partnerships, advanced important operational excellence initiatives, and continued investing in its digital platform, eRNDC, which crossed the $1 billion threshold. These milestones demonstrate the company’s continued focus on supplier growth, digital access, and efficient service. Its investment in technology has helped support a wider range of customers and suppliers while giving the business the tools to respond to changing market needs in a practical, scalable way.
In May 2025, RNDC announced an expansion of RNDC On Demand in partnership with LibDib, a digital alcohol distribution platform. The expansion brought the service to six new markets: Florida, Virginia (wine only), Washington, D.C., Maryland, Colorado, Illinois, and South Carolina. This move gives suppliers a way to grow at a pace that fits their business while using RNDC’s logistics and service support. Brands can launch products, serve on- and off-premise accounts, and later transition into full-service distribution as they grow.
In August 2025, RNDC announced a major expansion with Pernod Ricard USA, distributing the PRUSA GEM Spirits portfolio in 10 new markets. Distribution began in September in Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Wyoming, with a phased rollout continuing into October. This followed earlier expansion of Código Tequila and TX Whiskey distribution into several key markets. In July 2025, the company also added Missing Thorn, an award-winning non-alcoholic wine brand, to its portfolio in Georgia and Texas.
Community Commitment
Giving back remains an important part of RNDC’s identity. The company recently donated $20,000 to The Pontchartrain Conservancy in support of sustainability and environmental stewardship. The contribution honored the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, a moment that continues to show the importance of resilient coastlines and responsible environmental practices in Louisiana. Through efforts like this, RNDC continues to connect its business presence with community needs and long-term responsibility.
Republic National Distribution Company (RNDC) also continues its DoBlue Campaign in partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation, raising awareness and supporting research. Since 2017, the campaign has raised more than $3.7 million, with participating suppliers donating for every case sold. In 2025, the effort included support from R&B artist Montell Jordan to help amplify the message. The company has also awarded more than 921 scholarships to associates’ children through the RNDC Scholarship program and donated more than $2.9 million to the RNDC Relief Fund for associates affected by natural disasters.
